Introduction to the Teacher Studio

The Teacher Studio is a dedicated group of practising teachers facilitated by experienced classroom teacher Jenetta Hurst. They are commissioned to work with Every Copy Counts as resource imaginers!

Teacher Studio members work through a process of imagining, devising and creating classroom resources to support and encourage high quality songwriting and composing in the classroom based on their own expertise and areas of interest. These free, editable, multimedia resources are by teachers for teachers.

Collaboratively, the Teacher Studio members designed the ‘content glock’ as a continuum of progression and engagement with music.  This underpins each of the resources and has been designed for teachers to use the adaptable resources in any way that works for their learners and their context.

The Teacher Studio members also act as advisors to the Every Copy Counts team throughout the year. We recruit a new Teacher Studio annually to ensure a flow of new ideas and perspectives. If you would like to find out more about the Teacher Studio, or express an interest in becoming involved in future years please contact jenetta@everycopycounts.co.uk

The Teacher Studio run a number of online sessions throughout the year, to find what's on, download our Teacher Studio Events document.
